Rep Theatre to hold auditions Feb. 17-18

The Nebraska Repertory Theatre will hold auditions for its 40th anniversary season, which will include "The Last Five Years," "Moonlight and Magnolias," and "Metamorphoses."

Auditions will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 17 in the Temple Building, and 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 18 at UNO's Weber Fine Arts Building, room 333.

The Nebraska Repertory Theatre, the professional wing of the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, will audition for roles in "Moonlights and Magnolias" and "Metamorphoses." First rehearsal is June 12 and the closing performance is Aug. 5. Auditions are open to the public.

Actors should prepare one comic monologue and a self-styled recounting of a classic myth. The actor's myth should include an element of movement. Combined, the two pieces should not exceed four minutes.

Audition times can be reserved online at www.unl.edu/rep.
