Woodwind Quintet, Chiara Quartet play 'Nebraska Concerts' in May

The "Nebraska Concerts" series will feature UNL's Woodwind Quintet and Chiara String Quartet in May.

The NET Radio series will include a performance by the Woodwind Quintet during the May 3 broadcast. The broadcast will also include an October 2006 performance by Lincoln's Third Chair Chamber Players.

The program will feature the Chiara String Quartet, artists-in-residence at UNL, on May 27. The broadcast was recorded from a Lincoln Friends of Chamber Music concert in November. Chiara was joined by clarinet player Hakan Rosengren to perform Brahm's Clarinet Quintet, Op. 115. The quartet also played Brahms String Quartet, Op. 67.

"Nebraska Concerts" features music performed and recorded on Nebraska stages. The program airs Sundays at 2 p.m.
