HEAD UP

Workers from Prime Rigging of Lincoln detach Tom Otterness's Fallen Dreamer, a popular sculpture of a colossal head, from the steps of Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery before moving it to storage. It was one of three sculptures moved last week to assure they would not be damaged during exterior renovations on the museum now under way. Sheldon will remain open during the construction project which includes installing a new roof, repairing and replacing travertine stones on the plinth and parapet and rebuilding the entrance stairways.
