MOVIE SHOOT

A Warner Brothers movie camera films Meg and Roger Bruce and other Nebraska alumni in Los Angeles Coliseum Jan. 11 for the film "Yes Man." The studio shot scenes in Memorial Stadium during the Oct. 13 Nebraska-Oklahoma State game but needed close-ups of actors Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel who did not make the trip to Lincoln. Some 750 people, including several hundred UNL alumni, donned Husker gear to recreate the gameday atmosphere in Hollywood. The film "Yes Man" is set to be in theaters before Christmas. In the romantic comedy, Carrey's character, who is recently divorced, turns his life around when he challenges himself to say "yes" to every opportunity. He says "yes" at a random airport counter and ends up in Lincoln and attends a Husker football game. Photo by David Fitzgibbon/University Communications.
