Feb. 1 performance features UNL pianist

A Feb. 1 performance by the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra will feature Mark Clinton, associate professor and co-chair of Piano in the UNL School of Music.

The classical performance, 7:30 p.m. in Kimball Recital Hall, will also include the work of LSO concertmaster Anton Miller.

Clinton will be featured in Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1.

A free pre-concert talk about the music and composers will be offered from 6:45 to 7:15 p.m. in the lower level of Kimball Recital Hall. The chat will be led by William Stibor, music director for NET Radio.
