Rosenbaum guides examination of energy-efficiency program impacts
Apr 1st, 2011 | By tfedderson2 | Category: Employee News, Feb. 24David Rosenbaum will lead a team examining the impacts of two state-sponsored energy efficiency programs.
Rosenbaum is associate director of the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management, and a professor of economics. Other members of the team include researchers from UNL’s Bureau of Business Research, the Bureau of Sociological Research and the University of Nebraska Public Policy Center.
The researchers will examine the weatherization program and the dollar and energy savings loan program, both sponsored by the Nebraska Energy Office.
The weatherization program enables low-income families in Nebraska to reduce their energy bills by making homes more energy efficient. The dollar and energy savings loan program makes low interest loans available to finance home, building and system energy improvements.
