First Friday is May 7 at Sheldon
The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery will offer the May First Friday Celebration from 5-7 p.m. May 7 at the gallery. The event will include a treasure hunt, an hors d’oeuvres reception, live music and a cash bar. The event is free, and door prizes will be handed out throughout the event. A gallery walk of art galleries in the Haymarket will begin at 7 p.m.
The event will introduce the Lincoln Arts Council’s new group, ArtsVenture, for 21- to 40-year-old Lincoln residents. Once a month, the group will participate in cultural and art-related activities in the community.
