Brian Lepard will sign copies of his book, "Hope for a Global Ethic," 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 at the University Bookstore, Nebraska Union, and from noon to 1 p.m. April 25 at the University Bookstore in the East Union.

In his new book Lepard asserts that hope is embedded in the scriptures of the various world religions.

Lepard is a professor of law at UNL, and is a specialist in human rights law.

He is also the author of "Rethinking Humanitarian Inter-vention: A Fresh Legal Approach Based on Fundamental Ethical Principles in International Law and World Religions."
