Del Pettigrew, an artist from Kearney, works on a sculpture of a jack rabbit in the Great Plains Art Museum. Pettigrew and his wife, Martha, are artists in residence through April 27 at the gallery. The artists are creating sculptures that will become part of the Great Plains Art Museum's collection. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the artists. Admission to the museum is free.
