'Fountain Frolics' offered Thursdays

The University Program Council is again hosting "Fountain Frolics," a Thursday lunchtime feature this summer.

From noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday through July 26 (except July 5), live bands will perform on the Nebraska Union Plaza. The performances are free and open to the public. UPC will offer a lunch of a hotdog, chips and a Pepsi product for $4.

Remaining performances are: June 14, The Melody Wranglers; June 21, David Von Kampen; June 28, Lightning Bugs; July 12, Toasted Ponies; July 19, The Resonators; and July 26, Nebraska Jazz Orchestra.
