Clay exhibit features UNL student work

The ceramic work of nine current and previous MFA students from the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts will be featured in the "Clay Convergence" exhibit, on display in August at the Lux Center for the Arts, 48th and Baldwin.

An opening reception for "Clay Convergence" is 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Lux Center.

The show runs through Aug. 25.

Artists scheduled to participate include Caitlin Applegate, Sarah Barnard-Blitz, Jenni Brant, Autumn Cipala, Susan Dewsnap, Seth Green, Xanthe Isbister, Jesse Ross and Rhonda Willers.

The Lux Center is free and open to the public. Hours are: Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and first Friday of each month, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
