Egg artistry contest deadline is Aug. 20

Nebraskans are invited to participate in the annual egg artistry contest sponsored by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Poultry and Egg Division. The winning egg will be featured in the 2008 White House Easter Egg Display.

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Poultry and Egg Division, is looking for decorated eggs depicting features of Nebraska. Entries are due Aug. 20. The eggs will be on display for public viewing and judging at the University of Nebraska State Museum from Aug. 21 to Oct. 1.
