'Love Terrors' exhibition opens Oct. 8

"Love Terrors," an exhibition using multiple views of horror, humor, propaganda, formal abstraction and zombies to explore the dynamic between communities and violence, opens Oct. 8 in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery in Richards Hall.

The exhibition, open through Nov. 20, features work by artists Claudia Alvarex, Mathieu Borysevicz, Terry Rosenbeg, Torsten Zenas Burns and Anthony Discenza. The multi-media exhibition is curated by Jeremy Stern, assistant director of the Bemis Center in Omaha.

An opening reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 8 in the gallery. The reception is free and open to the public.

The gallery is open noon to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
