'NURAMP' to reinforce research compliance

The Office of Research has launched a comprehensive research administration education program with a workshop series for UNL faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students who conduct, support or administer research projects.

NURAMP (Research Administration Management Program) is designed to ensure that UNL research remains in compliance with funding requirements and supports principles of institutional integrity and credibility. The program will provide the latest information on research regulations, policies and procedures, and access to resources and contacts to help manage research projects and programs.

"I encourage everyone involved in research to take advantage of this terrific program," said Prem Paul, vice chancellor for research. "We've developed NURAMP to be a great resource that helps our UNL research community manage grants and contracts, understand policies and procedures and learn to streamline processes that ensure continued compliance as UNL research grows and advances."

NURAMP eventually will provide a variety of training and educational tools and resources. The program began Sept. 5 with a workshop series for anyone involved in research management or administration. Participants may pursue a certificate of achievement by participating.
