QUILT DONATION

Helen James George (left) examines "The James Family" quilt with Patricia Crews, director of the International Quilt Study Center; Sherry Rencenberger Boram, designer of the quilt; and Carol Ducey, curator of textiles, clothing and design, at the IQSC on Oct. 22. Boram made the quilt for Helen James George, who in turn donated it to the IQSC. James George's brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Ardis James, are the primary IQSC donors. "The James Family" quilt features the history of the James family. Rencenberger Boram is second cousin to Helen and Robert James. Courtesy photo/International Quilt Study Center.
