PINs required for libraries’ systems
May 23rd, 2013 | By tfedderson2 | Category: 2013, Campus News, Issue, May 23The University Libraries are requiring the use of a personal identification number to access online systems. The use of PINs, which started May 13, is to protect library cards from unauthorized use.
Users must establish a PIN when they log into a library account or the UNL libraries database.
The PIN will be used to check out items at the libraries’ self check-out machines. It will also be used to log in to My Library, any database licensed for UNL, and library computers.
