‘Monologues’ on stage Feb. 20-22
The Vagina Monologues will be performed Feb. 20-22 as a fund-raiser sponsored by several UNL organizations.
The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 and 21 and 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Loft Above the Mill at 8th and P streets. Tickets are $15, $10 for students, and will be available at the door or can be reserved by calling 467-2278. Funds raised will benefit the Rape Spouse Abuse Crisis Center and Fresh Start.
The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler is a series of monologues addressing women’s sexuality, intimacy and self-discovery. The play is produced around the world near Valentine’s Day to raise money for causes to stop violence against women in a campaign called V-Day.
