Village Voice art critic to give Feb. 8 visiting artist lecture

Jerry Saltz, visiting art critic for the Village Voice, will present the final Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts Visiting Artist Series lecture for 2005-2006 at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 8 in in Richards Hall Auditorium.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

Saltz has just received his fifth nomination for the Pulitzer Prize for distinguished criticism.

Originally from the midwest, Saltz received his education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 1971-1974.
