Kloefkorn, Schaffert to read from their works March 6

Nebraska authors William Kloefkorn and Timothy Schaffert will read from their latest works March 6 at UNL.

The reading is part of the Research and Region colloquium series presented by the Plains Humanities Alliance. It will feature Kloefkorn's "At Home on This Moveable Earth" and Schaffert's "The Singing and Dancing Daughters of God."

The reading will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Dudley Bailey Library, 228 Andrews Hall. The event is free and open to the public. Books by both authors will be available for purchase and signing.

The Research and Region colloquium series is an outlet for local and visiting scholars to present research about the Great Plains and other Plains regions to faculty, graduate students and the interested public. The alliance features presentations of scholars' research-in-progress, including graduate student dissertation proposals.

Forward proposals to Deb Eisloeffel, Plains Humanities Alliance, UNL, 314 Seaton Hall, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68588-0692.
