GEOMETRIC JAR

On display in the University of Nebraska State Museum, this geometric ball is a seed jar, designed in 1990 by the Acoma Pueblo tribe in New Mexico. Acoma pots are made from slate-dried clays that, when fired, produce a very white vessel. The clay also allows for the production of very thin walls.
