UNL updates online image
A transition to a new version of the UNL Web site was launched Aug. 14.
The new site (www.unl.edu) is designed to help the university's many audiences find what they are looking for more quickly. The redesign provides greater efficiency of operation and is compliant with all accessibility standards to the highest degree possible.
The Web page is a "work in progress" as the campus moves toward greater alignment of format among all units of UNL.
Not all UNL pages can be converted at one time. However, the redesign is a milestone in moving forward to make the Web more user-friendly and efficient.
The new design was created through a collaboration of the 160 members of the Web Developer Network. It was also supported by 8,500 members of the campus who shared opinions through Web audience research in April.
The Next Generation Web Committee, headed by Brian Moore, associate professor of Music, developed the sitemap for updated Web pages in the spring.
