Film curator to hold workshop

The Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center will host Christopher May, director of the International Experiment Cinema Exposition, for an interactive workshop at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 21.

The workshop is primarily for film students, but is open to the public.

The International Experimental Cinema Exposition is a touring event, showcasing high-caliber international experimental cinema. Created by May and his experimental film colleagues, the exposition aims at preserving the fundamental qualities of cinema and film exhibition.

The Ross hosts a screening of the experimental film exposition's traveling show at 7 p.m. Sept. 21. The show is a collection of 35mm and 16mm highlights from the past six years of exposition shows. For a complete list of shows, go online to www.theross.org.
