Lux plans Kendall Exhibition

Gail Kendall, professor in Art and Art History, will showcase colorful and functional ceramic pieces in a Lux Center for the Arts exhibition.

The exhibition runs Oct. 6-27. An opening reception is 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Lux Center, 48th Street and Baldwin Avenue.

Kendall has been working with clay since 1970, and has taught at UNL since 1987. She exhibits widely in national and international exhibitions and leads workshops throughout the United States.

The Lux Center is free and open to the public. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and first Friday of the month, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
