Following the discovery of Social Security numbers posted on a UNL Web site, Information Services has issued a reminder to colleges and departments to perform an inventory of systems and files to assure that federal ID numbers - or text files and databases containing SSNs - are not inadvertently posted online.

Quilt symposium opens March 1
Every other year the International Quilt Study Center brings together 150 to 200 individuals interested in quilt design and quilting traditions. A worldwide audience has the opportunity to hear lectures, paper presentations and panel discussions and visit a variety of quilt exhibitions. The goal of this gathering is to celebrate quilts and quiltmaking.

'Give and Take' examines work of teacher, student
A new art quilt exhibition at the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery celebrates the teacher and student relationship among quilt artists. "Give and Take: The Artist/Student Dialogue," organized by UNL's International Quilt Study Center, is part of the center's biennial symposium and will run through March 2.
