'Human Aspect of Design' opens March 20 at Kruger

The Kruger Collection at the College of Architecture will open its 2006-2007 exhibition, "The Human Aspect of Design," March 20.

The exhibition will explore how interior spaces create or respond to human needs and the importance of retaining an indication of the original inhabitants in historical interiors. Two roomboxes feature replicated designs from Eloise Kruger's original roombox designs. The exhibition will run through March 2007.

The Kruger Collection was founded in 1997 with the donation of Eloise Kruger's 20,000-piece collection of 1-to-12 scale miniatures.

A gallery opening will be held April 13 following a 4:30 p.m. address by Eva Maddox of Eva Maddox Designs. In conjunction with the exhibition opening, Volume 6 of In.Form, a journal of architecture, design and material culture, will be available for purchase.
