The two were part of Discover Engineering Day, held Jan. 26 in Cook Pavilion. Sponsored by Engineering, the event introduces students and teachers to many different engineering disciplines and programs on campus. Hands on activities encourage students to apply math, science and creative thinking skills. Seventh and eighth graders will attend a second Discover Engineering Day on Feb. 2.
