  Black History Month at UNL

Owomoyela to share Yoruba proverbs, collection methods

 

As part of a Black History Month celebration, Oyekan Owomoyela, professor of English, will share his method of collecting Nigerian Yoruba proverbs 2 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Bess Dodson Walt Branch Library, 6701 S. 14th St.

Owomoyela will also read from his recent published collection, "Yoruba Proverbs."
