'Clouds and Stone' opens at Lux Center Feb. 3

The photography of Dana Fritz, an associate professor in Art History, will be featured in the exhibition "Clouds and Stone," opening Feb. 3 at the Lux Center for Arts, 2601 N. 48th St.

Fritz's research and creative work have been funded by the UNL Research Council, Layman Trust, Hixson-Lied Endowment and Humanities Center. The funding enabled Fritz to travel the United States, Europe and Japan to take photographs that investigate the intersection of nature and culture found in gardens.

The opening reception for "Clouds and Stones" is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3. The Lux Center, 2601 N. 48th St. is free and open to the public.
